Speaker’s Biography
Dr Li is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Chinese Medicine at MUST. Dr Li's research interests include: Classical Prescriptions (Jingfang) of TCM incorporated with Artificial Intelligence; Construction and Application of a Knowledge Graph of Jingfang Tongue Diagnosis; Regulation of menstruation, assistance in conception, and pregnancy stabilization through the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine; treatment of infertility caused by oocyte development disorders and low oocyte quality; pre-IVF conditioning and treatment of repeated implantation failure.
Seminar Introduction
Acupuncture has transcended its ancient origins to become a scientifically validated therapeutic option for various health conditions. This presentation focuses on how modern research has redefined acupuncture’s role in pain management, anxiety relief, and infertility support. By exploring the neurobiological, hormonal, and psychological mechanisms of acupuncture. Key clinical studies and real-world cases will be discussed to demonstrate acupuncture’s impact, making it a valuable tool in integrative medicine. Attendees will gain insights into the latest research, practical applications, and future directions of acupuncture, understanding why this ancient practice remains relevant in modern healthcare.
