MSD - Precision and Regenerative Medicine Research Center (PRMRC) co-hosted the 3rd TICSSO International Conference on Single Cell and Spatial Omics, which came to a successful conclusion
On March 29-31, 2025, Shanghai - The 3rd TICSSO, jointly hosted by the Precision Regenerative Medicine Research Center of the Medical Sciences Division at the University of Macau Sciences and Technology, the Human Phenomics Institute at Fudan University, the School of Life Sciences at Fudan University, and other authoritative institutions, was successfully held at the Shanghai Caohejing Conference Center. The conference, with the theme of "Life and Health in Single Cell Space", focuses on topics such as "Tumors, Immunity, Development, Aging, Spatiomics, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology Transformation". It gathers experts, scholars, and industry elites from China and abroad to jointly explore the academic and industry trends and future directions in the field of single-cell and spatial omics.
Chair Professor Paul Kwong Hang Tam, Vice President of the Macau University of Science and Technology and Director of the Precision and Regenerative Medicine Research Center, serves as the co-honorary chairman of the conference and sends a warm congratulatory letter. Vice President Tan emphasized in his letter that "single-cell and spatial omics technologies are leading the paradigm shift in life science research, and this conference will undoubtedly promote innovative breakthroughs in precision medicine.”
As the initiator and co-chairman of the conference, Professor Xinghua Pan from the Precision and Regenerative Medicine Research Center led the academic event and co-hosted the opening ceremony with several internationally renowned scholars.

This conference covers cutting-edge disciplines such as single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and AI analysis. The three-day academic feast attracted over 2500 attendees and promoted the clinical application of multiple technologies. With the continuous breakthroughs in technology and the expansion of application scenarios, single-cell and spatial omics will play a more important role in precision medicine, biopharmaceuticals, and other fields.
The TICSSO International Conference Series originated in 2022 and was jointly initiated by Professor Xinghua Pan from MUST, Professor Fuchou Tang from Peking University, and Professor Guoji Guo from Zhejiang University. The TICSSO-3 conference was executively chaired by Professor Binzhi Qian from Fudan University with other leaders. As the first international academic conference in the Asia Pacific region, and also the largest academic conference of its kind in the world, focused on single-cell and spatial genomics. Its first two conferences (TICSSO-1 Guangzhou, TICSSO-2 Shenzhen) have established a complete academic exchange system, including invited presentations, thematic discussions, technical exhibitions, and other forms, which have been widely recognized by the academic and industrial communities.
